How can I live well with IBD
IBD is a lifelong disease, but you can adopt a healthy lifestyle to improve overall health.

1.Keep up your IBD medication regimen.
2.Follow your doctor’s advice to manage symptoms
3.Have screening tests and recommended vaccines on time.
4.Stop smoking if you currently smoke.
5.Engage in moderate physical activity.Try to do at least 150 minutes a week of moderate intensity physical activity, such as walking briskly for 30 minutes 5 days a week. If you can’t meet this goal, do as much as your condition allows and avoid inactivity
6.Limit or stop alcohol drinking.
7.Get enough sleep atleast 7 hours
8. Achieve and maintain a healthy body weight.
9. Eat a well-balanced diet if you cannot eat well because of IBD symptoms, consider working with a dietitian
10. Reduce stress. Adopt a healthy lifestyle 11.Reduce stress by practicing meditation or other relaxation techniques. If you feel depressed or anxious, talk with your doctor.
